Called on a Sunday evening at 5:42pm claiming to be conducting a survey from the CDC. Sounded very odd to me. When I returned the call I got a recording stating I had reached RTI International. Sounds like some sort of scam.

I didn't answer and they left no message. Sounds like from what I've seen by other people that it is a phishing she for potential scams for your personal information for "Their benefit".

I just got one of these "CDC" calls too. I told her I was on the do not call registry. She told me, "We don't have the list."

They called me in Hawaii. They left a msg about the CDC. I believe it was a survey

I lady called from this number and said that she is doing a study for UCLA and had 3 questions for me.

That is a very legitimate survey. It's called the California Health Survey, through UCLA. It's been done for more than a decade. It is only for California residents. The company doing the calling now is based in North Carolina. I used to work on this project for several years for another research company. Call comes in no one there.
