they called my work number in fargo nd

The number rang my phone (landline, I'm in the phone book) a few minutes ago, but only once, then automatically blocked. You hear that Jon. BTW, where are those names and numbers? Once again, Jon, It's a Colorado landline phone. It's in the phone book. It's not a mobile phone, Jon. Phone book with a valid address, Jon. It can be easily looked up. Colorado, Jon.We are Anonymous, We are Legion, We do not Forgive, We do not Forget, Expect Us!

In MN. Caller said from CDC. Said doing survey on health questions. Said some questions would be of personal nature. May be legit, maybe not. Not worth the risk. If legit, they need to find a better method of survey than random blind phone calls. People are rightfully Leary of things like this.

I get calls from this number with a message to call The Dept of Human Services with a return number of 866-800-9203. They are trying to get me (my office) to participate in a "voluntary" survey regarding a patient of ours. They want their billing information, what they were treated for along with who paid for their treatment (medicare, medicaid or private insurance.) I have told them twice I do not wish to participate and they call me several times a day. Won't take no for an answer. Going to get our attorney on it.

I am a Hawaii resident, caller told me she was calling from the CDC and that I would be mailed a $10 check to my address upon completing their survey. I asked how long it would take, and she told me approx. 25 minutes. I decided that it was not worth my time and hung up.

She was about 25 years old (her speech pattern was African American) & claimed to be from the CDC. Yeah,...right. She hung up as soon as I told her I wasn't giving my name or address to her. I guarantee you that she is a scammer.

I imagine it's by area codes and maybe bugs in their system. Try to research your area code number and compare it from the California ones.
