Was just wondering what does he get from doing this thing, changing his phone number and doing it at an unholy time of the day?

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
