They claim not to be a collection agency but refused to give any info as to why they are calling my #. When I refused to give any info about myself "Chad" told me to enjoy the calls and hung up on me.

I thought I would add my comment here in the hope that others can benefit from the information, and perhaps that law enforcement and the 'powers that be' might also find it useful, and do something about it.My story is pretty much the same as everyone else's here. Multiple calls from someone claiming to be "Andrew Goldstein", a 'legal assistant' from a company called "Atlas and Associates", (although strangely on one answer machine message he said the company was called "Atlas Recoveries" - it seems their story changes from call to call). Upon speaking with him he says he's looking for someone called "Angel", but won't tell me what its actually about. I tell him I don't know anyone by that name, and that he must have the wrong number. It seems clear, from what others have said, its just a made up name. (Although I have to confess I can't really understand the benefit for these guys in calling people up pretending to be looking for a made up person - seems like a waste of time to me!?!). The messages and conversation style of these people is very rude, insistent, and yet at the same time very evasive regarding their actual purpose. Anyway, I've had about 4 calls from these jokers so far, its getting to the point where I consider it to be harassment. And if it persists I will certainly be taking further action. For heavens sake someone do something about these guys!!

Yeah, I'm getting pretty annoyed with these people. They left a msg urging me to call within 24 hours (like others have mentioned). I also picked up once, and they yelled at me for not picking up before, so I hung up. Then, they called my husband, and he didn't pick up either. What the heck is up with these people? I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WANT!!!

They have called my number, my work, and my mother. My mother asked for their address and they refused to give the information. They have said they have repeatedly called to get me, they have not.

This collections agency does not play by the rules. They have called all of my immediate family members as well as my teenage nieces and nephews. I have repeatedly told them to no longer contact me. They threaten daily that they are going to serve me papers. THey have even called the leasing company that manages my apartment complex. They are rude and dishinest. They have threatend to garnish me check although I live in a state where that is not allowed. I am going to file a complaint with the FTC today.

I believe they are a debt collector using fear tactics to intimidate their victims. I have had a few messages left on my phone, and now they are bothering my parents. Remember to tell them right away that you are recording the conversation, and will be reporting any abusive tactics to the appropriate authorities.

I'm am also gettig harrased by these guys they told my boss they would would serve me with papers and have me arrested if I didn't settle with them withing 24hours this guy goes by the name of chris tozer his number is 949-797-7110 I'm sure its the same people so becarefull. I'm serving him with cease and desit papers now that I have their address hope this helps you .
