These idiots at this phone number keep calling me. I keep asking them to provide me with proof of the debt. They refuse and tell me to call ChexSystems. I cannot get a live person at ChexSystems.I called back asked them for the name of their company and their mailing address so that I could send them a letter and they refused.They just want me to pay them over the phone without any type of validation?Who does that? Can you say "sketchy"?

Atlas said they were calling about our property. Which is a lie to scare us into returning the call.

these lowlifes called my 80 year old mother right after my father died and demanded that she send them 2500 dollars that very day or she would owe much more if they did not get it immediately she told them that she did not owe any money they shouted at her and told her they would seize her property and or her bank accounts she hung up on them. today they called me and left a message that they had made numerous attempts to reach me with no reply they gave no name of who they were trying to reach just that it was me and told me they had to reach me today concerning my property very gruff angry sounding person. no doubt they can intimidate and steal from a lot of old widow ladies

I get calls from these idiots at Atlas Recovery every other day for the last 6 months or more.They leaave stupid messages telling me to cal them because its "Urgent", or it concerns my property! So I called once just to see what they wanted, and some idiot little [***] named Thomas starts telling me its about a debt my daughter has. I told the little dumbass that he is breaking the law talking to me about another person's debt but he just started cussing me out!! Well. I filed a complaint with the FTC.....they are still calling and leaving me missleading messages, so i will file another complaint. I will do this for a few months, then I will file suit.

I agree completely! They called both my mother and I and requested payment over the phone. When I told them that I needed to contact my attorney before agreeing to resolve anything the agent became aggressive and began yelling at me on the phone. After speaking with my attorney they told me to advise them that under the FTCPA (Federal Debt Collections and Practices Act) they are required to give me written verification that they have the authority to collect on the account and have 10 days to do so if they do not comply then I will be filing a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Again after being told this the agent became incredibly aggressive. I attempted to obtain address/website/email information from the employees and they refused to give me the information. Finally, the manager got on the phone to which I received the same treatment and was then accused of "harassing their company" HA! They could not provide me with account information regarding the account they were attempting to collect a debt on and would only seek resolution through payment over the phone with a credit card number. When I asked again for their address so that I would be able to send them a check or money order instead I was informed that "their only approved method of payment is by credit card" so when I asked for a website where I could issue the payment again the manager became incredibly agitated and refused to provide any further contact information. At that point I told them they were a scam company and needed to find real jobs. Again the manager informed me that they would no longer be accepting my calls as I was now harassing THEM. hehehe

This company never gives up! They have been calling my daughter to get ahold of me about 6 times a day! I called them when she passed the message on after weeks of this and they were so rude and then proceeded to call me 5 times in one hour. These outlaws should be shut down. Mean, nasty people!!!!! Told them they could file a 1099C with the IRS and he was surprised I knew what I was talking about.
