I have been getting calls from this number every day of the week just got one this morning on Sunday at 500 am. Really sick of it can never get anywhere with it.

I also received a call from this number, 5-27-11. And I also didn't answer. I rarely use a phone and pay $1 a day "airtime" when I do... so I don't answer unknown calls that will cost me a dollar. heheI suspected it was a first call from a buddy in "detention."Strange that a number in TX handles all these various places, must be some kinda outsourcing to the private sector... and the one that handles the most usually does it the cheapest... so they get more business. A "vicious cycle."

Okay first of all, this is not a scam. Someone somewhere in a facility is trying to get ahold of family or friends. Second, no jail has the phone line on after ten pm and before 7 a.m. so some of you all are [***] stuff you obviously dont know about. Second, just becuase all your familly and friends are accounted for doesnt mean it wasnt someone you knew, get set to the drunk tank for one night, and this is still the number that will come up. To the dumbass who said hes on the outside, think about it. obviously it was in refrences to set up an account with your own number specificly, as opposed to sending an inmate money he can spend on anything, setting up an account with your number allows you to put money on the account that can only be used to call your number. THIRD, if you dont want the [***] call, call it back and it gives u an option to stop calls. in the time it took you to get on here and [***] about something you dont know about and make yourself look like idiots, call the number back and stop calls. THIS IS NOT A SCAM. It amazes me how dumb people are. And Troy is so completely right and its just sad and terrible how the world seems to think the way inmates are treated is okay. Do you realixe that someone who has murdered or a child rapists, get treated the exact same as someone who goes in there for stupid [***], like a Disorderly conduct (being loud) or someone who was hanging in the wrong place with the wrong people. They hacve the same damn rights. You go into jail with a stupid meaningless misdemeanor and you come out of there with a whole different perspective in live because of the way people are treated in there. Imagine living dayd in and day out with murderers and etc. you have to learn to be a hard [***] in there and it doesnt change people for the good. EVER. So stop bitching about this number because you dont realize how much one stupid minute call can do for an inmates day. stop bitching and put your name on the do not call list. just call the number. i Thank god everyday for this phone system so i can talk to my boyfriend whos been stuck in jail for months on lack or residency.#depressed at how clueless people in this world are.

this is quite annoying, i have received 5 calls today from this number - automated msg that an inmate at coconino detention center in arizona is calling. tried the option 7 to block my number but then it asks for a pin????

This number is to a company called Prison Call Solutions (PCS). They help inmates and their families have less expensive phone charges by deposing funds into an account that serves as a local calling card, to avoid long distance charges. this company serves all US jail facilities, hence all the different caller ID locations.

Who is this? Does anybody know??? I don't have anything in collections and if it's a debt collection agency, the just broke the law!

It is definitely from an inmate. And it allows your cell phone to receive collect calls when it isn't set up for that.

Stop calling me!!!! Does n e 1 know how to block this number?

I just want him to stop calling me I'm with someone else for 2 1/2 years now, leave me alone.

Keep getting unwanted automated calls from 972-280-7286, shows up PCS.I am going to report this number to the attorney general's office. Due to the no call list.
