I got a call from this number 3 times a week ago and twice a few days ago. The voice is prerecorded by the person who set up the phone account. The call I receiceved is from my best friend. The prison he is in just switched providers for their prepaid phone calls. Before it was "no number". I haven't answered these calls yet because I didn't know the number. I did a search and found this website, so I finally checked my voicemails. It was his voice, his name. If you don't know the name, voice or anyone in that correctional faciltity, just ignore the call, or answer it and tell them they have the wrong number. They could be remembering the number they are trying to call wrong and thats why they keep calling you. You don't get charged for these calls. The prisoner pays for them (which is good for me, because my phone bill would be sky high trying to talk to my bestie all the time!)

Got called by this # twice today... said it was the Lubbock TX Correctional Facility. The name was Romero. I don't know anyone by this name. How do I block the number??

This is also someone trying to call collect from Jefferson City Correctional Center.

They start out toll free because the inmate is suppose to be allowed one phone call to let you know where they are. ( they dont always get this call ). The PCSDAILYDIAL system is not a scam. You can put money in an acct to a phone # of your choice, so your loved one or friend can call you. Many times, this is the only way the inmate can communicate with the outside world. Note: PCSDAILYDIAL- (Public Communication Services) ...IS NOT the same as ["PCS" -"Prison Call Solutions"]. They are two entirely different companies.

this must be a service provider of some type for prison phones. its the number my brother calls from in Michigan dept. of corrections.

called at 3:55 am 3 times i do not know any one back east or in texas please help stop this caller.

just got a call from that number.. ( 972-280-7286 )....luckily my cell ph has a "reject" button...so I did! : ) That area code is in Dallas, Texas, by the way.

Thanks so much for this post - it has helped me find out that my young daughter is receiving and paying for calls to this scumbag in jail. I went on my cell phone website and blocked that number. Can't wait till he tries to call again. OMG I am so motrified to think she is talking to an inmate. Thank you Thank you Thank you for this post!
