This same number just called me in Winnipeg, MB. Some recorded message about winning a cruise. I hung up of course.
They actual leave you a message of thier recording. Don't bother answering the call it's one of the you one a free trip calls.
Call was received today at 12:04 PM . Caller ID said was 1-979-446-0366. Didn't bother to answer as answering machine picks up after 3 rings. No message left. Other site(s) have reported that callers get robot-Message that says they have won a trip to Orlando Fl, to press 1 to speak to a live operator to claim the 'prize'. Possible Telemarketing Scam. See if College Station Police can pay a visit to this number(Possible Bogus Caller_ID info). Call them at 979-764-3600 to file a complaint.

Just called my cell phone. I took one look at the area code and said, "No way am I paying for that!" I live in Ontario Canada, and that area code is from Texas!!! Holy C^@&. Thank you to everyone who posted before me for the headsup. I'm glad I was in front of my computer to check it out.
I'm in Winnipeg, and I've been called twice this morning- once on my personal cell and about 2 hours later on my work phone. That would seem to be a very big coincidence considering that very few people/businesses would have both my personal and work numbers...unless some business sold these numbers to them.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
