Getting lots of calls from 987 area code as well as 954--they ask for someone (not my name) and say she is a friend. I've told them I called the police and to stop calling. So far, this seems to have stopped him for about 24 hours. Called the phone company (no help), the police (told me to get a new number), the FTC Identity Theft Hotline (no help). Getting lots of scam calls for the same person from auto loan companies, car companies, life insurance companies, online schools, debt reduction agencies, tax relief agencies-about 30 calls a day. I think they are all scams. It's driving me crazy. I'm going to have to change my number. Why aren't the authorities doing anything about this?!

I don't even get as much as a "burp" they just hang up!

I suddenly started to receive scam calls from this number. It is so annoying !!! I called my phone company and trying to put an end to this harassment. I hope it works... (I doubt it).

Well geez they have now called me 27 times in the past two days. I finally answered and they told me that I was approved for an auto loan. When I tried to call back I kept getting the number you have dialed is not in service.I did call a company that deals with complaints. They told me that the number they are calling from does not exist and that they block the outgoing caller ID and just use a random number. Unfortunately I do not know who else to contact. I don't think that anyone can do anything about it until we find out who they are.The guy also hung up on me when I told him that I wanted to be removed. If they call again I have a loud bull horn ready to blast in their ears.

OMG! I did too! Yesterday. I got all caught up in the "offers". I did, however, have a couple that called me back & actually offered me the loan. But the one's that are "bad" ...they have my info as well? Do I need to call the bank???

Did any of you apply for a payday loan online?

I am getting the same calls from this number.I called back and it says" the number you dialed is not a working number". I sent a text to have them stop calling me.Found out this is a land line number.Could be from a computer with a different number.

This number is from india and they are scam artists attempting to scam you. They will verbally abuse and threaten you if you dont give them what they want. They will incessantly call you and even at 4am
