i got this call todayi looked it upon google and it says it's a spoofed number from the movie the ring well i was sleeping when they called so they left a voice mail and it said they were representing a doctor name anthony something couldn't quite make out the last name and didn't play message all the way through usally withcalls like this i hit the erase button fast cause listening to them advertise is annoying
I have no idea who is calling from this number. If it's a friend you'd think they'd leave a message but they never do.
I have been getting these 999-999-9999 calls too one for 79 min, most for 1-2 min. verizon said its either an unavailable number or a solicitor. It could be a scam and they said I can contact the police to track the number and find out where its coming from (all incoming calls). Its not considered fraud b/c they are all incoming calls but they said it could be some kind of call forwarding scam. anyways they reimbursed me minutes and i changed my number, problem solved.
I get this call 2 times today with 999-999-9999. I yahoo and google to find out about this, but there is no answer for this. Is any one know what is this.
I received a call from this number, 999-999-9999 on 11/13/08 at 3:09 pm. No message was left. After reading all the responses on this page I am glad I did not return the call. There must be something that can be done to stop this or force them to id themselves at least.
all you girls sound psyco. im a female getting these same incoming calls on my bill but they never really happened. and i never even talked on the phone and my husband has nothing on his. verizon said its solicitors or some kind of scam, your man isnt cheating so chill out

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
