999-999-9999 is without a doubt a "restricted" number. The key is in the desc code. If it's from an in-network or business number it will simply say "incoming". If it's from an out of network, or out of state "restricted" number it will have a code. Trust me, I'm the woman who's having an affair with an out of state guy and his calls show up with 0000440779 or 0002345645 in the description code. Hope this helps.

first national calls from (999)999-9999. no one says anything.

There are two phone numbers that have been bogus incoming calls that I want to report.They are. 999-999-9999 and 000-000-0089

got a call and they asked for erin. there is no one here by that name. did someone mention that i will be billed for this call and it will show up as another number? i just wrote the date and time down that i received the call, only because it was such a weird number.

A call from the goverment (Mid eastern accent) telling me they will route $7000 to my bank account becasue I am eligiable for this entitlement just give them my bank routing # and SSI # and they will proceed with it right away.. yea right! "What you say you don't want the money?"Some elderly people could fall for this!

getting calls from this number. Answered and its some asian lady saying extremely sexually perverse things.

Look people, stop being stupid about this....it is NOT a call from a mysterious 'lover' and the only reason they are calling so darn much is because it's a call from the 'government' giving you 'grant money' worth $7000.00. They won't send you the money through the mail, and when they repeated my address back to me, it was an address I had over three years ago, but since moved. They wanted my account information, saying they were from the grant department in Washington, D.C. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!

got a phonecall from this number twice today..i didn't pick up and no messages

i get these from time to time as caller ID from people overseas using Skype or some low end calling card. recently ive been getting telemarketers using it as well. its quite annoying and since i do get valid calls on it occasionally, so i cant really put a block on it. i wish the telemarketers would stop using it..
