I too called the cancelation line for Wu-yi source tea. after reading many complains against the company about not canceling peoples orders and charging them for countless months. I called the cancelation number on the order confirmation form and it directed me to this same 101515800 number. I look them up on the web and found out that they are directory assitance for navada and for a charge they would lead me to the address or phone number i needed. now i cant cancel my order unless i pay more money, this dosent make sense
Got my phone bill dated 7/8/09 and had a charge for using 10 15 15 800 to call phone # 101-515-800. total charges were $7.50(5.49 + 1.65 + .36 taxes) for a 0ne minute call !!! Of course I never did such a dir assisted call.
Someone named "name not clear" left message to call him at 1-866-691-3566. The recorded message stated to call 101-515-8000.I just googled and found out this is a scam. This message was left on my work number, direct line which is not really published except internally.I would like to know how they even got my number since it is a direct line.
I received my phone bill and a charge for OAN at $7.57 was on it. It said directory assistance was used to call 101 515 8000 at 11:15 am. This is funny since my husband and I both work and could not have made the call. I called the number on the phone bill 800-731-7777 but got nothing but a static sound. I then called 800-892-8424 and actually got a real person. She told me it is a Nevada directory assistance for an 800 number that was no longer in servise. I explained that I never made the call and was told that my bill will be credited within the next two billing cycles. I guess this goes to show you that you need to check out every line on every bill. After all this could add up. What a scam! Like I would pay $5.00 for someone to look up a number for me in this day and age!!!!
I am unable to call to the number listed above 1-101-515-8000 but need to speak to someone ASAP. Money is still being taken from my mother's bank account and my mother passed on April 18 2009, I returned the package of meds to UPs and told them not to continue to deliver the packages. Please contact me at 310 490-0970 My mother's name is Althea Johnpeer, and the bank is allied Healthcare Federal Credit Union Long Beach Ca 90808. Again my mother has passed and is no longer of your services
Received a call from an 877# stating they were Western Union trying to reach my husband - I forwarded the call to him and they said that someone was trying to use his identitiy and that they needed to verify who my husband was beginning with what bank he used and the acct# - WHICH HE DID NOT GIVE TO THEM - when I did a reverse # search we came up with 1015158000 - tried to call but the number is continually busy and the 702-555-1212 (Nevada directory assistance had no clue what I was talking about) but here's the kicker - they actually had some verifiable personal information on my husband - but when I drilled the woman, I mean quesiton after question, before sending the call to my husband she kept placing me on hold and she was no where on the phone the next go around - it was a man - Their "operator numbers" were 205 and 215... I am definately going to report to the FCC and FTC as well as all 3 credit reporting agencies and the monitoring system for fraud alerts...
I got a call which I screened saying it was Citibank and that I hadn't registered the new credit card they had sent me. I only have two credit cards and neither is a Citibank. I called 1 800 950 5154, supposedly the Citibank national number. I got a recording that it had been changed to 10 15 15 8000 and mentioned something about a $5.49 charge. When I heard the 10 15 15 number, it triggered my memory to an alert we had at work that was posted warning that this is a slamming scam. If you call it, they change your long distance service to theirs. I reported it to AT & T and did not call the number.
Just received my phone bill. Had a Dir Assist call to 101 515-8000. With all charges the Total ILD Teleservices was 7.56 and I don't even know what this is or what it's for.
Just got my October bill in from Verizon. There is a charge from OAN Services, Inc on behalf of Calling 10 15 15 800 for an alleged Dir Assist call to 101 515-8000. I can't call anyone, today, because it's a weekend but come Monday, the following calls and actions will be completed. I'll call Calling 10 15 15 800 and OAN Services to advise them of the fraudulent charges and let them know payment will not be made. I will then call Verizon and tell them the same thing. I'll also tell them to disconnect my phone service. I've been hassled with wrong charges for 6 of the last ten months and I've had it. I'm switching to Magicjack (magicjack.com) and no phone bill...charges can't be tacked on if no bill exists. Maybe when the phone companies finally realize these frauds are costing them real money, they'll get off of their collective fat overpaid gluteus maximi and see to it that action is taken to shut these frauds down! I will also finish the last bit of info on the complaint I am filing with the Washington State Attorney General (did I contact the other party? etc).
