We received a phone call from this so called grand tropical vacations, turns out they are in fact a scam, their site is hosted in Arizona, and that they're supposed to be a "time-share" company when in fact they are a complete scam. Before I agreed to their "offer", I had the novel idea to search for them via Yellow Pages Florida and suprise suprise, they DO NOT EXIST. Also I typed the apparent address listen on their website into google, and it turns out to be an address of some Human Resources Sector or something..complete [***]THANK GOD I DIDNT PAY OR GIVE ANY DETAILS OUT AND PEOPLE, FOR GODS SAKE, DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU FALL FOR [***]...

Obviously YOU have nothing better to do! And you have a problem...Ciao, vacca!!!

My wife was contacted whilst I was away. These guys acted like professionals and convince her to take the offer. We have been charged some AU$900. No documents, no email confiming anything. Just robbed the money. When contacted promised to send a email confirming the status. Nothing for over 2 months. Contacted the bank and requested a refund. I also attached copies of all the issues that other have indicated in this dicussion forum. If I had been there I could have never allowed my wife to do it as the company website itself give good indication that it is a fake (dead site and a good company cannot survive with such a web site). Hope we would get our money. I am glad that this disucussion forum existed. Otherwise we would have thought that is only to us it happened

report them to Florida Department Agriculture and Consumer Services, the more people who complain the better to get rid of the scumbags

Its ok we actually were scammed BIG time we actually flew over to florida and went to book into the resort only to find out their were no reservations for our family!! so we had to try and enjoy a trip that we were sooooo looking forward to being miserable as what money we had aside for spending money for food and etc went on all our accomadation.. its ok people i will be on the news with my story in the next couple of weeks. They will pay eventually for what they have done!Australia : (
