Hi Stephen Rice,So far, another dissatisfied customer, but maybe you can change all that by confirming it is worth me sending the dates of my paid in advance holiday ?ronettinger@googlemail.com
I also think I have been scammed. Nearly £500 has been taken from my account back in Jan 2009 and I was told I had 24 months to travel. Each time I have tried to contact grand vacations to book up the dates thephone number is not recognized and my emails are not replied to. I have sent a letter saying I would like to cancel the holiday which I did within the required time but as there was no reply I kept trying to contact someone.I would either like a refund or if you are legitimate, book up the dates for my holiday. My confirmation number is ST012409102. I am very worried due to the high number or complaints that I have just read when I googled you Please respond. Thankyou
Hi JeremyDid Stephen call with a resolution as I also cannot get hold of them and don't know what is happening about the holiday?
I live in Sydney, Australia. I am a nurse and do shift-work at a hospital. I too was deceived by this mob on May 25th. After reading the reports on this site two days later, I called my bank & cancelled my credit card but $624.02 had already been taken out of my account by Matza Ltd. When I got my new card, I found these [***] had taken another $312.01 out. I will have to go to a police station, file a report & take it to my bank. I have called 1800 638 753 many times between 6am-11am. I was unable to contact Tropical Grand Vacations. I want my money back and I want Stephen Rice, etc., prosecuted for ripping people off not just in Australia but, globally.
This is definately a scam. The telephone number has been disconneceted. I am going to get legal advice snd inform barclaycard as your website has the visa logo on it.
I got in conact with the company today. The lady I spoke with was very polite and answered all my concerns. The telemarkers in their haste did not give me a few vital pieces of information, but they are not quite the 'cowboys' they are made out to be. When the situation has been resolved there will be no further action from me.
Recieved a call on the 19th May saying i had won a holiday for 11 days to florida from PAULA JONES . i accepted the holiday and payed 413.70 from cc . Still haven't recieved my package and now the Federal police are handling it so i hope they get locked up and the key thrown away.
Just to let everyone, I receievd my refund today. Money arrived after about 5 days of receiving the merchant refund receipt. So Steve honored his word. Also as I stipulated, when I'm in the US I will be glad to check out tropicalgrand vacations.Sam
Def. not a victim....used to work for a similar company, and I honestly LOVE seeing how people think they are being scammed, but in reality they are not. You just used the word "scam" because you know that someone was good enough to convince you to hand over cc details and buy a vacation that most likely you will never use...then you feel foolish and as a defense mechanism, turn it around saying that you were scammed. Have fun!
