Hey all,I got a phone call on Monday 19th January 2009 by Tropical Grand Vacations that i had won a holiday for 15 days for £598. I believed them to be genuine and so gave my credit card details over the phone and was excited at the prospect of going on holiday to faraway destinations with family/friends at such a good price.Like yourself, after hanging up I googled Tropical Grand Vacations and was alarmed by these posts regarding fraud and scams. I immediately rang Tropical Grand Vacations and asked to cancel the package. At first, I was asked by Karen to give them a chance and that they were aware of these messages and that their lawyers were looking into it. I was initially swayed but then the more messages i read the more i feared that I would loose £598 even if i adhered to their refund within 30 days policy.I rang them back asking for a refund. Karen said she'd process it immediately. It has taken a couple of days during which i have been in touch with George Adams as well. I received the refund today.I have read a lot of messages about Tropical Grand Vacations and don't really know how much of what is said is true. Going on my experience only with them, I managed to get hold of them on 0808-234-7528 (UK) the majority of times i called. I got quick responses to emails that i sent them. I have got my refund back for the full amount that the package cost of £598.I just want to say that I am not one of their employees and i really do hope that everyone else who is in a similar situation gets their problems sorted out quickly.Good luck.

they called my mum today with the florida con. she gave her bank details and was told no money would be taken untill she decided if she wanted it or not.when i heard what she had done i checked them out and surprise £499.99 taken today. the llyods t.s.b bank fraud office are checking them out now. the number they are using for now is 0808 234 7528 they do answer but are hard to deal with

Well I'm the latest victim, on sunday june 1 I was decieved.I received the phone call and I actually upgraded to x2 double rooms at a cost of $839 which was debited from my cc.I really did want this to be real, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I'm a successful global business man so I'm never this naïve and gullable. But it was just presented so well to me, it was definetly the best con I've seen, and I've come across a lot of hustlers.Anyway, I made the mistake of paying and then doing my research. The next day, I did my research and came across this discussion board-thank god! So straight away I put a stop on my cc, but it was too late the money was gone....I spoke with my bank(NAB), who gave me legal instructions and they stipulated they've received many complaints and are on top of it. They said all the other banks are aware as their customers all across australia are hit too.So I immediately emailed tropicalgrandvacations and demanded my refund otherwise there would be severe consequences. I told them they [***] with the wrong man!I immediately got a reply this morning from a customer service manager named Anthony Skinner who said he will resolve it. I told him that I expect my money back ASAP.As long as I get my money back asap that will be the end of it. I told him that he doesn't know who he's crossed-im rich,powerfuland very well connected here, in the US and across the globe. Those connections include law enforcement,banking and goverment. I will call today, but truth is I don't know who I'm talking with? So I will go on email, so that things are in writing. got some of my money back as a part refund my bank is trying to get the rest for me now. they have been helpful on the phone ,, they just lie a lot and promise the money will go back in when it wont.a lady called linda deals with the refunds speak to her directly or get in touch with floriday dept of agriculture they were very speedy and efficient in helping me. try that its bound to work apparantly they are listed and licensed in florida so they are legit but dont know why they are being doddgy though.

These cheeky devils tried to scam me today, I googled it whilst she was on the phone and discovered it was scam. KEEP AWAY FROM THEM!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS!!!

was called selling 11 days and nights in florida the web adress given didnt exist took £499.99 from my bank straight away when my son called the number to check them out was told it was only 4 days and nights . person answering wasnt even too sure what the company name was. number being used 0808 234 7528

I called 10.40 am and there was no answer or pick up. Despite their recorded message stipulating their hours of trade as Tue-Sat 6am-11am AEST? So it certainly makes one wonder how this can be a legit company? Another point o want to stress.... Is we are all assuming we're going to receive our docs and info in the mail, upon which we are instructed to act upon(I.e. Ask for money back etc). Well what guarantee is there we will receive anything in the mail let alone our hotel vouchers? Oh because, they said so? LOL. So we are suppossed to sit and wait like waiting ducks? Till we apparently receive a package and then wait a further 30-40 days before we can act and put through a credit card fraud investigation? Well I say [***] that! I want my money back now! Because by the time we sit and wait like ducks, they will have done a runner!Everyone put the word out! All over the net. Remember information is power! Let everyone know. Next I will get onto the media, if I don't get my refund by the expected date!

yes, the customer service from TVG, surely convinced me that its a true vacation on that particular day, but I realised very next moment, of buying the vacation, that I commited a huge mistake in trusting them, were u also a victim of the fraud company, if yes hw did u get ur money back??
