Got a call from this number for the past two days. I answered it today. The guy (sounded like a black guy in his mid to late 20's) asked for my wife and told me that he was with ExpressScripts and that they handled all if my wife's prescriptions. He used my wife's given name. And I literally had just said "Hello" and then he started with all the above rambling. I hung up. My wife has Lupus and she is currently hospitalized...amazing how these calls started the day after she was hospitalized...makes me wonder if the stand alone ER or Hospital got us on the call list.
I never answer when I don't recognize the ID, so I haven't talked to them. If it is MEDCO, it is strange that they would be calling me. I don't do business with MEDCO, but my prescription plan has it as an option. So, if I don't do business with them, but I do business with someone who does, is this an allowed call? ( I am on the "DO NOT CALL" list.)
I just got a call from this number (201-891-1029)....I didn't look at the caller I.D. at first and answered. It was a woman who claimed to be calling about a recall on my Maytag dishwasher. She said her records indicated that my Maytag dishwasher was recently added to a recall list and this was a courtesy call. I told her that I don't have a Maytag dishwasher, I have a Kenmore dishwasher. She apologized and then said she would take my number off of the list and hung up. I then looked at the caller I.D. and saw that it said "MEDCO PHARM" and had this number. So I got to thinking that this is fishy and started looking online and stumbled across this site.
They called and did not leave a message? We don't deal with a co. named Medco Health So? (Caller ID) Seems like another SCAM! Do not answer when they call!
I got calls 2 days in a row. I do NOT use Medco. I am not calling them back and entering the number as a scam in my phone. I will not be answering it, especially since no one can verify who is really calling. I'm not going to waste my time or energy on it.
They are still at it. Received a call about 10 minute ago. Caller ID said: 201-891-1029 Wycoff, NJ. I never pick up unknowns. We, too, deal with Medco. They can call all they want because we just ignore them.
I got a call from (201) 891-1029 -NJ, and did not pick up. A woman sounding a bit robotic, left a message saying it was Express Scripts and to call back at 800-934-1296 (Medco when I Googled it) and gave me a really long reference number. I will not be calling back. I have all my prescriptions, thank you very much. Scam.
Have been receiving a call from this number everyday about the same time of day. Did not recognize it and I do not answer if I don't know the number. They never leave a message. Obviously a call I do not and will not take. Found out by checking with Google that this number is some type of telemarketer. I am on the don't call list and this is my cell number. What is the deal with the so called don't call list?
We have gotten calls from this number for the last couple of days. From what I have read in the past they call either trying to get you to switch to their mail-order prescription delivery service. Or they call you every time your doctor takes you off a medication to find out why. On the mail-order nonsense, I read that Medco/Express scripts charges twice what your local pharmacy does. On the calling every time their is a change in your prescriptions that is none of their business. Have they never heard of doctor/patient confidentiality. It is between you and your doctor on why you no longer take a certain prescription or not. Both of us have Coventry health insurance. Looking down in the lower right corner of my insurance card I see that Medco/Express Scripts is the one who handles prescription claims for my insurance. If you think you don't have any business with them. Look at your health insurance card. It's likely they are listed on there, making you indirectly a client of theirs.
