I get calls from this number (and Medco messages from whoknowswhat numberon my cell). I never pick up. I'm so offended by their Nazi tactics refusing to allow prescription pickup at my local pharmacy that I've gone off Crestor rather than buy it by mail order from them or pay the full retail price locally. What's the greater heart-attack risk, cholesterol or dealing with jackbooted thugs like Medco? Pass the sausage.
201-891-1029, calls repeatedly and sometimes more than once a day, won't leave a message, won't actually answer when/if we pick up, getting beyond ridiculous!
Thes folks called my elderly mom a few times, she finally picked it up, thinking it may be a relative with a similar area code, they explained they were a mail order pharmacy, the lady was "very nice" according to my mom and explained the proceedures, etcMy mom told her she was not interested (thank God shes old school!) the lady then asked for some personal info like address....then tried to get my moms social security number!! my mom is old but not stupid!
Everyday ...Every Morning and sometimes Twice a day...Medco Express calls...Answer Phone..they hand up...this is Ridiculous!! Calls have come in as early as 8:50 in the Morning......For over a Month now!!! Needs to Stop!!!
I just received a missed call with no message from 201-891-1029. When I dialed back, I followed the automatic prompts and then spoke the words “customer service”, then “live person”. A live rep then answered the phone (unusually fast) as MEDCO. When I asked the rep if she could use only my phone number to find out why MEDCO phoned, SHE SAID NO BECAUSE THE DIALING TAKES PLACE AT ANOTHER LOCATION. She then asked my name, which I gave without any other identifying information. She then said there was no record of anyone phoning me, which made no sense if the call was really generated from another location. I mentioned this site, but the rep remained silence. I said good-by and hung up the phone. I do deal with Medco, but there was something odd about this call.
Well that statement is bunk, because even with HIPA they can leave a message of their name and who the call is intended for and to have that person call them back and ### ### ###.
received several calls from the 201-891-1029 number. did not answer any of them. calls are from the New Jersey area. these calls could be a scam .just let the phone ring as they are paying the bill.
Got a call from them--didn't have the phone. But I am glad I looked up the number and foundout about this. Apparently, someone is using another different number that is supposed tobe Medco. I know this because I didn't recognize the number and didn't answer the phone. When I checked it out, it was supposed to be Medco. Everyone is absolutely correct--theyshould have your address, etc. because I have insurance that wants you to order medsfrom Medco and I get letters from Medco frequently. Is there anything that sleezeballswon't do to get people's personal information?????
