same here. I just called. they ask about a payday loan. I ask a few questions of my own. they said don't worry about it and hung up.

I just received call from unknown number called back because I was accused of bank fraud so I called and was told Capitol one was ready to sue me for 1600 loan told them never had loan with them and he said maybe it was identify theft! Still wanted me to settle or appear before judge. When I asked what address they had and that I have not worked in five years he slammed the phone down and hung up! Could here other people talking I. The background and what sounded like pots! Big scam

Same message to me about the 4 hour call back. I sent this to the Missouri Attorney General's Office with a link to this site. It does help, as they shut down a previous collection company. Send the complaint to your State Attorney General, as the more they get, they will help shut them down.

I just had a message from this number on my answering machine. It stated I was part of an allegation for check or bank fraud and needed to call them before the end of the business day if I wanted to stop the allegation and not appear in court. It also said they needed to contact my employer to verify my employment. Scared me when I heard it. I was sure if it was saying I was guilty of fraud or a victim. Of course when I called back there was no answer. A business should have an answering machine. Glad I looked it up and found this site. I work hard for my money and I refuse to let anyone try together it from me by illegal means.

These calls can be frightening. I would like them to stop. I tried to call them back and can never get anyone...just a recording. I do not know what it's about.

i'm at work and i get a call on my work phone and cell phone right at the same time from unknown numbers....left a message on both my phones indicating check or bank fraud to call the 2024172021 by the end of business day. I'm not calling back....besides...who's end of business day?...mine or theirs....

with the app mr number blocker my phone never rings but I get voice mails still always call after "business hours" so you cant call back sayin they will contact my employer to verify employment thing is I don't have one they never answer when I call back ever I get enter remote code like so you can check messages while away on a home machine getting tired of the calls I know its harassment as much as they call

they are using false information...portraying to be someone they are not
