Got a call. They said they were from the IRS. Clearly, a bogus callb/c the IRS would not contact by my cellphone.
Just got the same voice message as everyone else. I called back because it sounded urgent. They said I could settle my tax debts immediately if I just gave $1,800 instead of the $4,800 that I owed. So I gave my debit card number to make the immediate payment because I could save $3,000 that way. I'm thankful to Nikki Johnson for being so understanding that the savings would be a big help to me!OK ... SOME OF WHAT I SAID ABOVE MIGHT NOT BE TRUE.What a joke.
Automated message claiming to be from IRS and asking to have self or attorney contact Nicki Johnson.
I can't believe that anyone would fall for this. Poorly done scam. Delete the voicemail and move on.
I had a voice message stating that this was the IRS and I had to call to prevent further action. This was so obvious as the IRS will not even answer calls let alone make them!
Stated to be Nikki Johnson from the IRS. Wanted me to return the call or have my attorney do it. Time sensitive.
Claimed to be from IRS wanted to know if I had a lawyer when I asked why Michael (Indian) became beligament and asked if I would like him to send a sheriff's car to my house to arrest me I hung up
I got a call saying they were the IRS and they demanded I call them with my attorney. Criminals and thieves!!
Received a call; they left a voice message on my cellphone. "Nikki Johnson" said she was from the IRS and don' t disregard this call. Then ended with "Bye now and take care". The message sounded like a pre-recorded Anglo American. I'm happy there are sites like this that scout for scammers. Thank you!
