Ok, got a voicemail saying they were from the IRS and to call back immediately before they took further action.... Nice.
I got a call from (209) 782-0039 and got a pre-recorded message saying it was from the IRS and I was supposed to call back immediately.What? The Loan company is now the IRS. Sounds like a scam to me.
I just got a call from this number saying it was Nikki Johnson from the Internal Revenue Service. I'm sure the IRS almost never makes phone calls to people so I decided to check the number first.

My wife just got a call from this number from a supposed Nikki Johnson with the IRS, threatening action, if my wife does not call back immediately. Pathetic scam.
I got a call from this number I left it to answer by my phone system and it was automated machine voice saying it's calling from IRS and gave name "Nicki Johnson" and it warn not to ignore the call but call back. I did call back but it was not IRS. I've been dealing with IRS number of time in my past because of work related and no voice recording accepted the call but it hung up after few rings. IRS always identify itself but this was not. It's too fishy.
