Guess they are changing their game! The message they left today was the IRS scam - a female this time, think she said her name is Nicki Johnson with the IRS, advised us to call ASAP because the issue is time sensitive and they will be taking action against us. Did not detect an accent and she even ended with "have a nice day!" And yes, I blocked the number.

Had this happen to my wife yesterday. We ended up have a friend ( Police officer ) come and call this number back.The officer was asking all kinds of question to this guy and trying to have him call the police department back. the guy refused to call the department phone back.Once the guy started backing off he told the officer straight out 2X that this is a Hoax.My wife has had 4 mini strokes in the past, this almost put her over the edge !Here is the number and name from that phone call we got.209-782-0039 Jim Wilson ( india voice )

They left an automated voicemail to say "This is officer Nikki Johnson from the IRS and that it was necessary for us to contact her hotline division at 209-782-0039 (Jamestown, CA) to avoid action from being taken".When we returned the call, an man that sounded like he was from India answered "IRS", and when I told him I received a message from officer Nikki Johnson to call, he hung up. I guess I intimidated him with my business sounding voice. It seemed like a scam and indeed it was setting up to be one. Don't be fooled!!

I also recieved this call yesterday. Since I was awaiting a call from the IRS re: our refund, I fell for it. Again, Indian accent and identified himself as Jim Wilson. He threatened jail, seizing my home, cars, bank accounts, drivers license etc... he also had my home address and the date we filed or taxes and the exact amount of a past/resolved discrepancy. Beware! This call almost sent me to the hospital due to poor health! SCAM!

It was a recording saying that's his was a call from the IRS and my attorney or myself must contact this number

Ours was an IRS scam. My husband was home during the day and this guy, accent again, said there was a lawsuit against us by the IRS and he needed some information. We just did our taxes last month and had a complicated investment sale so he almost fell into this. They asked for the last four of his social which he started to give. Then he thought this is odd. I have had these calls before so I pop the number into this wonderful system to check it out.

I received calls twice from this number claiming to be an IRS agent Nikki Johnson with a threatening message that I should not disregard this message and that I should return call before they take action against me. DO NOT call them back - this is a scam!!!

Called said it was Nikki Johnson from the IRS

I get these calls no less than two times per day...I call them throughout the day and harass them. I think everyone should call them throughout the day and harass them. I also tell him he is a piece of **** and other names. He doesn't seem to like that! Today HE finally blocked me from calling..PERFECT!

They constantly call me telling me they are with the IRS..
