Caller threatened it was IRS and that they were preparing to take action against me.I hope the Feds track down whoever is running this scam coming from this number.. I'm sure I'm not the only one
this number left a message on my answering machine telling me by a woman's voice not to ignore this message and that she was calling from the IRS and it was urgent to return the call and when I did, a middle eastern voice answered and asked me to verify some information and told me the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.
Just received an auto voice message from this number stating it was the Internal Revenue Service. The message said: The very second I receive the message, I or my attorney was to return the call to Officer Nicky Johnson of the Internal Revenue Service due to the time sensitive nature. The hot line to her division is (209) 782-0039. Do not disregard the message before they take action against me. Good by and take care.These scammers are bold. No government agency would call you with this kind of message. I saw a warning about this telephone scam on my local TV news outlet and newspaper.

A robo call claiming to IRS. They said that I needed to call back immediately to avoid serious repercussions. This is a known scam. Unfortunately, it must work on some people because almost everyone I know has had these calls. Hang up and do not respond to this scam!
Just got this call on my voicemail as well, claiming to be from the IRS and asking me to call back to avoid legal action being taken against me. Recording was a robot - not a real human voice. Definitely a scam.
