This number has been calling me for 3 days and trying to sell me a magazine subscription and a newspaper.
I Just found out they are based out of San Antonio Texas. (210) 587-2222Call this number and demand to be removed and let thenm know you reported them to the FCC and BBB.
They are a COLLECTION AGENCY getting you to answer the phone for voice recognition software to capture your voice and others in the house. They are looking for a person who has a debt they purchased for pennies on the dollar and are trying to identify the occupants at your phone number. Bottom line is they are calling your number under the guise of a media company or poll to identify who all lives at your location and the best times to call when you will answer the phone. Eventually you will get a call from a live person requesting info on someone you know or are the person they are looking for. Collection Agencies have been using voice identification software for years when it became available to security agencies and police depts for the purpose of identifying and tracking individuals.Do not return the call and avoid answering the phone when their caller id appears.

The number calls me constantly, five times today so far. Even on the 4th, they called. Caller ID says Metro News Serv. I also have DNC on the number they call. This has to be on auto dial. I have turned off my phone ringer now. Have had enough. Since we can't seem to get anything done to stop them, they get to ruin our use of our own phone line. Rip offs, illegal calls, they all seem to get away with it, but the little guy keeps getting screwed. So typical.
All reports did no good. They just called me and hung up immediately. It couldn't be a collection for newspaper subscription as stated above. I have never owed. Best thing to do is block them.
