Receiving multiple calls from this number daily. 4 weeks now it has been going on. On DNC list...
Keep getting calls with no one speaking on the other end when I answer and no voice mail. Annoying
I received three phone calls at different times of the day on Friday then again on Monday. When you call back the mailbox is full can't leave a message. When you push zero for the operatior oops guess what there mailbox is full can't leave a message. I randomly started pushing extension numbers until I finally got someone who claimed to be a supervisor. I told her to remove my number immediately and that I had turned metro news into the FCC. She said that she would have it removed and hung up. We'll see,....
These calls are from a Bill Collector. The caller id shows area code 210 but the originator of the call can be from a State like Oregon which even allows recording of your voice without your knowledge. As someone above noted very convenient to capture your voice for their voice recognition software.
I found this number to actually reach a live body: 210-587-2222. I only have my cell and they are calling with automated dialers which is completely illegal btw. Plus I am on the do not call registry. I've filed a case on the registry website. What really gets me, is that I've asked them before not to call me anymore and they still do. [***].
Called the 1-800-950-8475 phone number provided by others. The lady that answered was very polite and removed me from their list. She said it takes 24-48 hours to go into effect.Really lame that I had to google them and find this board in order to get the situation resolved, but at least she was polite.
