I too received a call from this company and they said they are from the DOT. They did not ask me any personal information, and since I have a Box address for mail I gave it to them. they did not ask for anything that could harm me. Just about driving habits, phone habits, and that was about it. Said they would send me a check for $5 for participating. They did not ask me for money, or for bank info, or anything like this. The gentleman was rather pleasant, and we will see if I get that fat check LOL.
Question to all of you: Do you have a debt that a collection agency is trying to collect from you? This could be a strategy of a Collection Agency to verify your identity/link to your phone number.
jenny if there asking for him by name it probably has too do with a health study that he signed up for ? possibly about a health condition he has
They called again.....was real nice. Said they would stop calling. I don't think it is a Collection Agency, because I have NO DEBT. We don't carry a balance with my company or my personal accounts. Maybe they will stop calling now. I think they are a research group working for a political SUPER PAC getting ready to run a commercial ad on the television about the economy. Be careful about the information you give out.!!!
This number call every day and I answered tonight and they wanted to take a survey. I told them to take me off their calling list and the man kept talking over me, so I kept repeating to take me off their list. Finally I said "do not call me back" and he said "Don't tell me what to do" and hung up. This is so stupid that they want to disturb people who don't want to talk to them....
I got 1 call at 2:30 a.m. and another last night at 8:00 p.m. - didn't answer and no message.
get a loud whistle or airhorn, it gets the point across a lot quicker and it's much more satisfying!
i have been getting calles from this number every day for the past 4 days i have not picked up because i dont know the number i texted asking who it was and verizon texted me saying the number was a land line.. it couldnt get txts
Kirby...really? Jen was displaying a sense of humor by spelling incorrectly on purpose. Clearly your sense of humor and level of intelligence are stunted. And whoever is replying saying that they work for the company that keeps calling, you really DO need to learn how to spell as well as use punctuation and grammar correctly. I'm really not sure how you remain employed with such a pitiful grasp of English. There are few professionals who would take that sort of communication seriously. If you want to move beyond working in a call center for the rest of your life, take some courses in professional communication.
