I got a voicemail from this number, they said they were doing a survey for the VA which coincides with a letter I got a couple weeks ago. So it seems legit? possibly a company that is hired to conduct surveys for people.

This is lame, i'm on the DO NOT CALL list and still get all sorts of calls.

Someone with this phone number just called me, no message; noone has my number; got another soliciting call yesterday; did verizon sell my number?

I received a call from this number tonight. They claimed to be from the US Department of Transportation. They were suppose to be completing a survey on bicycle safety. Is there a law preventing parties obtaining information under the guise of a US Government Department? I am disappointed that the survey of a marketing ploy.

Stop calling my phone! I asked them to take me off their call list, and they said there was no "call list" and the calls were computer-generated. So annoying.

This number has called me at least 6 times in as many days. Usually in the evening, once or twice around 1:30-2 pm. I have not answered at all but decided to google this number. How do you get them to stop calling?

This number comes up on my cell phone daily, no message. Really? "they" think I'm going to answer?

This number called me repeatedly on my cell phone. I had never before received a marketing call on my cell.I was able to activate the call blocking feature on my service plan and block it.

Please DO NOT answer theses calls !!! These numbers are SCAMS and the call is a REVERSE BILLING SCAM !!! Usually when somebody makes a Long Distance phone call they are the one one who pays for the phone call, but in Reverse Billing Scams the person who "Answers" the phone call is the one who gets billed for the call. I have no idea how the scam artists make money by doing this but my Mother had a call from this same number, unfortunately she answered the phone and they asked for my Father and wanted to know when he would be home so they could serve him some court papers. Seriously a Process Server who makes appointments, what a joke. Anyways my Mother was super confused because my Father passed away in 1995 and when she explained that to them they just kept asking her other stupid questions, as if they were trying to keep her on the phone line, which turns out thats exactly just what they were doing, the longer you stay on the line the more expensive the phone call is billed for.Well she just received her phone bill from AT&T on Friday and on that bill she was charged $247.66 for an International phone call "TO" MAIDUGURI, NIGERIA . It appeared on her bill as if "She" was the one who initiated the phone call and there for AT&T is refusing to remove the charge from her bill. She spoke to somebody in the Fraud Dept. and they are sending her an Affidavit that she must fill out and have Notarized and mail back and then AT&T will investigate her claim further. This is a ridiculus scam and I just pray that they can confirm the scam andthe fact that she did NOT make the phone call and remove the charge from her bill.Please everbody if you recieve calls that you do not recognize on Caller I.D. or your called I.D. displays 1-800/1-866/ or a Long Distance Number, Unavailable, Private,or Blocked, DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE !!! You will be glad that you Did Not and Very Frustrated if you do and it turns out to be a reverse Billing Scam like my Mother has experienced.

"Melvin" left a message that we won a prize for a new car from our entry form (We never entered anything). He knew we are on the Do Not Call List, but he had to call anyway because we were the winners. It would be in our best interest to call 888-284-8918.Yeah right!!This number has come up several times on our Caller ID.
