Just got my "helpful" your computer is infected call. We had a nice chat right up to the point where I mentioned to him that I was under protective custody and that my calls/internet are monitored/recorded by both the Cdn/Us Federal Authorities. He then nicely concluded our converstion.It's always a good day when you "pull" the other guys "chain".Keep up the untited Front :)

They say they are from Microsoft and want me to turn on my computer.

I get calls at least three times a day and it is very annoying. The guy claiming that a problem was detected with the Internet connection of my computer and to please go to a website where he will be able to direct me in how to "fix the problem" but first he needed my computer ID. Please block this number.

Microsoft dude... I have a Mac and he told me my "Windows operating system was malfunctioning" ... I said I didn't know how to read anyway....

The caller ID shows the name, "Judy Lee" with that phone number.I never answered the call.

I received the same call "I'm from Microsoft and your computer is infected" etc, etc, demanding that I go to my computer and do whatever......the only reason I answered the phone ? the caller ID said FOOD BANK, with the phone number of 212 777 3456, after this womans rambling ( with an Indian accent that I could barely understand) I told her to give me her name and phone number and, I would call her, well very interesting tthe phone number she gave was 646 846 6356, said she was in Miami and that her name is marie wilson, very interesting. just for kicks, I called the 212 # a recording came on with "welcome to movie phone", the 646 # comes with a recording saying the lines are temporarily busy......

They called my house tonight at 11:45 pm really who calls at that time first thought on my mind is it is an emergency..they told me they were Microsoft techs..it was a lady and i could barely understand her dumb [***]..then i hung up and the dumb [***] had the odasity to call back and it was a guy this time..i cussed him out and told him that i wasn't buying what they were saying and said how in the hell does Microsoft know what is wrong with my computer and how would they have gotten my number b/c i never gave it to them..i mean really people this problem needs to be fixed asap..but what really got them was she said you need to go turn your computer on i was like ok it was already on but if Microsoft knows so much wouldn't they have known that to...lol IDIOTS...

Everyone comes to complain about getting calls from people who are a bunch of scammesr and at the same time say the Do Not Call registry is a joke and doesn't work. Well...it does work for legitimate companies that run a real and legitimate business. Think about it...these people are breaking the law with their scams and taking peoples money without providing actual services or products, do you really think that they care that they're calling people that are on the DNC registry. I don't think so. When you get calls that provide "Unknown" or "Not Available" information on the caller ID just don't answer. I know it is annoying and frustrating to get these calls but stop answering the calls and turn off you voice-mail and let the phone ring and ring.

This Number came up about10 times on my caller id. They never left a message but I am getting sick and tired of these calls! What can be done to stop them!

I have been getting phone calls from this number, do not know who they are wont leave a message.
