guy with indian accent calls tells me he has a $3,000 grant for me he wanted my bank info so he could deposit it in to my account,yeah right!He told me he works for the United States Government.
Say they are with Microsoft Windows and they are receiving error messages from my computer. They hung up when they found out they called a business.

The first message about this phone number appeared on this site in 2007 - that's 5 (five!) years and 38 pages of complaints ago. And yet, despite both the US and Canada having "DNC" registries, neither country seems to be able or willing to cooperate with each other (or to regulate their respective telecoms) to stamp out these kinds of calls. And both Canadians and Americans are still being hounded by these phone scammers from calls originating from both countries and going to both countries.Five years. Pretty sad if you think about it. They called me, I just never answer but always come to this site to see "who's trying to scam me this time"...5 years, and nothing done...
This is a scammer number. They say they work for Microsoft. They pretend there is something wrong with your computer and try to get information and funds. Bad people.
Got a call on our land line from this number (caller ID says Judy Lee) last night and let it go to voice mail, then a second call tonight at 9:15 PM. I answered, no one was there. I called the number back and a recording said "Welcome to Movie Phone." After reading these posts, sure hope it doesn't get worse.I have filed numerous, numerous complaints with the US FCC on multiple numbers. Nothing ever happens.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
