It's a scam I answer my phone he said he was a tech support from microtech. Set the computer resend there is a bad signal on my server and he would go on their step-by-step to resolve the issue. Here's the deal, 777-FILM works with multiple area codes in multiple areas and is known as Moviefone. It is not owned my a particular theater but it is rather an info line for all movies. There was actually a Seinfeld episode where the spoofed moviefone because the announcer (though computerised)(who also has commercial with Geico Insurance) has such a unique voice, Kramer tried to imitate him....Anyway, it is not Moviefone calling you! They are a legit business and would not telemarket from that number. It is someone calling with you "spoofing" there caller-id to look like that number. This can be done very easily as I am capable of doing it through my voip provider and there are even 1800 numbers you can call and enter the number you want to call and the number you want shown as your caller-id.Maybe there is one of these companies that defaults to spoofing moviefone because it is such a generic number to call back, almost as generic as 555-1212. So bottom line, we can all be getting called from different people, all just doing the same trick.

Did you find a way to stop these movie phone calls i looked at my phone they call me 11-15 times a day every day and its wasting my minutes. how can we stop them?

I have received, so far, just one call from this number. Could not get to the phone on the first ring. When I answered just after the third ring, it was silent, but then someone said "Goodbye!". Was not familiar with this number and that's when I did a search for it and ended up here. I have what's called a "policemen's whistle"....very loud when blown. Next time, if I get a call and see it's this number on my ID, I'll blow on my whistle into the phones mouthpiece. Could shatter the caller's ear drum! Wouldn't that be so special! LOL!

Didn't answer. checked phone number on google and found your sight. In the last 3 days there has been a promotion in the Cleveland area by radio stations to get a free laptop ( myfreelaptop.com). I went to that sight but didn't finish because you have to spend time and money to get it. I am wondering if this is connected in someway.

Caller with heavy Indian accent said my computer was downloading a virus & that I should immediately go to www.gbmtechsupport.comBeing suspicious I said I'd do so as soon as I could get to another computer. Caller hung up. Subsequent investigations revealed that this phone number has been used over the past 3 yrs for several different scams.
