guys, I figured out how to get rid of them...check out fusion phone custom voicemail...I input their numbers and then make obnoxious replies or the disconnected phone message for them when they call. Since it is an autodialer, the three tone SIM signal that noise before you hear "this number has been disconnected, if you think..." They get that message, just the people I put in and after 3 tries, the computer deletes my number from the list. Otherwise, you have to change your number...I tried everything else but this works.
Call twice this evening. Told me he was Mike (He had a heavy accent) and I should look at my computer. Before he could go any further I asked his for his phone number which he said was 877 yet appeared on my phone as 212. Then I asked for his HOME PHONE # AND ADDRESS AND HE ASKED WHY. Told him he was being investigated. He quickly hung up.
Just got another call from this number. Everytime I answer they hang up. Don't know who they are.
This call came through this morning as being from the New York City Food Bank. They didn't bother to leave a message. It certainly gives legitimate business and charitable interests cause for concern that their reputations are being sullied ~
Got a call stating they were from a finace company I had appled for a loan. Broken english hard to understand. Told him I do not need a loan and hung up. Got another call that I did not answer and when I called it back some recording came on saying I could win big bank if I played some game. Since then I screened call and do not answer. shortly thereafter no more calls. Now I get them from a 208-621-2055 which has show up simular to this one on the web. I have never answered the calls and they have stoppped.
Received a (first) call from them this afternoon. Why are they calling me in Amsterdam? And if they only search for valid numbers, why don't they use a hidden number themselves?
My called id shows this number as "Food Bank NYC." What scum would use the problem of hunger in America to scam? I hope there is a special place in hell for these type of phone criminals.....incessant phones ringing that won't stop...everrr....heeheehee

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
