Received call from automated 214-382-4871 that connected me with "Walter". Walter stated that I had debt owed with a previous rental company in TX, and to confirm my address. I told him that he needed to tell me what address he had for me, as I didn't receive any collection letter from either his company or the rental company. He stated that they were unable to provide this information, as it was over the phone, but that he was authorized to take payment via credit over the phone for the $105 owed. In total disbelief, I told him that I would contact the previous rental company to confirm this debt was owed, and if it was, I would call him back. He stated that they wouldn't tell me anything.Needless to say, I called my previous rental company who told me that I didn't have a balance due with them and they would contact the debt collection agency and have my name removed.

Scammers say :"unable to provide this information" because they have no intention of sending you any proof by USPS."as it is over the phone" - well, of course, as they have no proof the person who owes the debt is the one they are talking to on the phone"but that he was authorized to take payment via credit over the phone for the $105 owed."No one has to pay anything on his say-so. But he claims any payment received will go to paying off the loan he claims money is owed on."He stated that they wouldn't tell me anything."When you contact the rental agency to check on your account, you will find the rental agency has no idea the scammer exists. For all you know (or any of us know) the scammer had gotten a list of accounts from the rental agency and is trying the scam on all the tenants on that list. The list could have been obtained illicitly. And because many rental companies require a Social Security Number and Government ID number, that information could also be on the list along with the names, addresses, and telephone numbers.

I have receivef tens of calls from this nb. Asking for an Alyssa something, with automated caller. I called them back saying delete me from ur database I'm not Alyssa, but they continue calling, gggrrr!!! How can I BLOCK them?Someone knows what do they do? Thanks,

The call frequently, months long asking for a petson that it is not me, through a recorded call. I called them back to say stop calling me, but they continue.How can I block them??Thanks,

Actually this company took proactive steps to solve a technical problem, which was a Google Voice number forwarded to my land-line from a previous owner of the Google Voice number.The only criticism of the company I have is that it took a certified letter to get anyone's attention. All the aggravation could have been prevented if they implemented someone smarter than a rock at their corporate number answering calls.

They call my number every day and then hang up. Called them back today and told them to stop. They hung up on me.

They area debt collector.

Hey toilet tongue, clean it up. Pro Collectt, they always get the wrong numbers. I just chuckle.

Out of state number so I didn't answer. No voicemail message left. This number will be added to my "blocked" numbers!
