Sounds like a scam from prison according to most of the posts

I get a call from 865-6696 on a daily basis. It rings 3 times and hangs up. I called the number back and the recording said that the number cannot accept calls. If they don't answer or hang up so fast why bother? Someone has too much time on their hands!

I got a blank text message from this number but it said unknown at first but then I texted back and asked who is this and it said it was a invalid number and please use a 10- digit number

I got a call back from Frontier Communications (who I USED to have as my landline and internet provider) on this number. That was a legit call, but I suspect perhaps Frontier uses prison labor and that makes this number vulnerable to undesireable in-house abuses and phone scams.

This number calls me all the time. I do not answer and I do I have iPhone. I'm so annoyed with this number!

Just got a call from that number, but my grandmother was on the other end. She said she was xalling from her cell phone, but this number showed up instead. I called it back and got a recording about it being the incorrect code or number. Thats really strange.

I had the same situation as Ariana today - a blank message from an unknown number yet when I clicked Call on my iPhone (my carrier is Rogers in Canada) this is the number it called.

I have recieved 11 calls from this 865-6696 number in the last 8 minutes!!!!! I really wish I knew who to report this to! I answered without looking the first time. What a mistake!

I received a voicemail saying it was the Transaction review Department for my 1st Financial Credit Card. I called the number on the card just to make sure it was legit and sure enough it appears they use this number for that department. 865-6696 no area code.

I get a test message saying message not found. When I looked at the number it had no area code, only 865-6696. Do not know who this is and do not want it to happen again.
