How can I get the authorities on to this? I and my wife have been harassed by these people for about 6 years.

Same message as everyone else. Its also the same automated message when they used to call from a 605-413-1500 number. I know its totally a scam, but I still get an ugly feeling in the pit of my stomach and I hate that they call family members.

Same here - and then when I called them back they told me no one called me and kept hanging up.

annoying calls

I received the same message on my voicemail as everyone else. So today I called them and received a young woman who answered with "processing". She already knew who I was when I called and told me that I was under investigation for a payday loan I took out in 2013 and am under investigation for bank fraud. She couldn't tell me what bank. I didn't have a bank account in 2013, and I have never needed a loan in my life. She tried to tell me someone may have stolen my information because I definitely took out a loan. When I asked who this loan was with she said "Webloan". I couldn't find any "Webloan" on the internet and asked her to give me more information. She said I would have to have my lawyer contact them, so I told her that I will represent myself. She then said that I can pay them now for the loan or be taken to court. At this, I asked why I haven't seen any discrepancy on my credit report or heard from Webloan on the owed "$1600". She said they tried to contact me many times. I've never moved and have the same phone number for years. I told her that I would have to see her in court before I paid anything. She then said that her company would not actually appear in court, because they are "Arbitration" only. She also said that it makes sense that I've not seen anything on my credit report due to the amount of money owed. - Please. I've seen $43 on my credit report.- I asked for her business' address and she gave me a P.O. box. and stated that I could not have their physical address because they are private. Then she asked if I wanted her superior. When I was transferred, a man answered with "Casey Carmichael". I guess he wasn't expecting me, because he immediately put me on hold without a word after I introduced myself. After a few minutes, the call disconnected. I called back and received the woman again, but she had "trouble" hearing me.

They call my cell and my relatives saying I have a lawsuit for faurad for a loan and that they are taking me to court I have no such loan

These freaks called me today. Anybody knows if they have an order of judgement against you it comes in a letter not a phone call. Total scam.

I just got this same message on my phone from this number! It worries me after reading everyone else say they call family, friends and work! This is ridiculous! How do we stop these people?

It’s a spam they been calling me for about 6 months now I blocked them and it’ll take months to figure it out then again will call you from a different number because they notice you have blocked ....we all know it’s a spam because they have the wrong name every time they call back I once told them to take me off the list of people they calling I exactly talk with a live person no computer this was so long ago but it’s like they put me back on the list for spammers the only option I have left is to get your number changed I think that’s what I’m going to do myself I had this number for 6 years now so yeah if you do a lot of online applications most likely this nuckle heads took our number off these job sites I don’t know how this bull is possible no one is safe anymore

The thread to me is confusing, are they legit debt collectors or a scammer collecting on fake debts? They can’t provide details of the account they say you owe for and I can’t find anything about their business online.how can you know if a debt collector is true or not. They have my ssn and dob so that makes me think they are but then not telling me what the account was makes me believe they are not.
