Is it a legit debt they say you have? What can they do with the info they have on me? They are calling everyone in my family
I have been contacted lately by a company named Allocation Adjustments at 219-318-1200. They are a very aggressive collection agency stating that I owe money from a webloan financial institute. They are not at liberty to tell me what institute but they can tell me I owe $1850 but can settle with them over the phone for $685. I know I don't owe this money for I have never taken out a webloan of any sort. The call is from Gary, Indiana.
Received the same call today but I have a free app that blocks this call as scam and they get a message this number is no longer in service.
I just got the same call on 1/2/18. No one knows who this is? The call that Carolyn received with that exact wording I received. It is upsetting to know this is a scam.

I received an order in my office today to complete __ order process for several pending matters that you are currently being investigated for I will be verifying your current address and place of employment today in the meantime it is your responsibility __ legal right to contact the claimant prior to being served their number is area code 219-318-1200 ___ ____ to comply will result in __________ of your right to dispute this matter and a complaint will be filed against you and your local jurisdiction 225948 comply will result in forfeiture of your right to the dispute the matter, and a complaint will be filed against you in your local county.
