I just told the guy with the Indian accent to not call again or I was going to report it to the authorities and hung up.A-Holes. They can kiss my a**.
Got the same call, claimed they were receiving unusual signals from my computer, needed to "look" at my computer since they were hired by Microsoft to monitor all Windows systems to ensure they were working properly. After listening to his very thick Indian accent, I couldn't take it anymore....so I told him, "I hate your stupid accent." He said, "I am sorry about my "stupid" accent." I said, "You SHOULD be sorry, get out of my country, and stay out...even if you are only entering via a bogus phone call, you freaking idiot!" He then hung up.....
I had six calls in one day four from a woman and two from an indian man they all said the same thing i had a problem with my computer. Until i told them i was a 90 year old pensioner and what is a computer then they hung up.
I just started getting calls from this number today. I am wondering if there is a connection between the search on peoplefinders.com that I performed yesterday and someone acquiring my phone number.
Just another [***] Harassing people.. My Caller ID said "Name Not Found". AT&T is my phone company but they don't care. When I complained to them I was told that everyone who subscribes to phone service has the right to use their phone to make calls. As I often say "We live in the world of No One cares".
Got 3 calls from the number shown on my phone as 12225557777 today, Sep 27 at 2:31pm, 3:05pm and 3:21pm. The number looked suspicious, so I expected it to be spam. There was no connection for the first two times. The third time I've got a guy with a thick accent (Indian?) telling me about some problem with Windows. He also asked me if I am the main user of my computer. I couldn't understand most of what he was saying and it sounded like a hoax so I hung up.
Repeated phone calls - usually didn't answer. Answered once but a man with an accent wouldn't state business.
I received a call on Sept 26, 2011 at around 12:30 pm Central time and then again around 8:00 pm from this number. Didn't answer the first one, but I did answer the second one without saying a word. Just waited for someone on the other side to speak first. A man's voice said "Hello, is anyone there?" and I hung up.I like the idea of answering "Law Offices"
