Got call from this number. A man with Indian accent repeatedly asked me I "I was the owner of the computer in my home." After he asked me the third time I told him that I was the owner of everything in my home so get to the point and tell me the scam he was trying to pull off. He hung up.

They called a couple of weeks ago and again just now. Lamest con-men I have ever encountered. Does anybody work for a living anymore?

253-820-3089 - Man with a heavy accent is calling saying my computer is infected. I looked this up online to find that this is a scam being used to gain access to computers.

Received a call yesterday from this number, location was Washington, DC. User had thick Indian accent, and kept saying you have a problem with your computer. We have two, so I decided to play with him and ask, "Which one?" He replied, "The Microsoft computer." I hung up immediately.

Just got a call and must confess I lost it. At first I was nice. But when he said you have problem w windows I knew something was up because. I am not using windows. I said thanks and hung up. He called back and I said ok get me someone who speaks English. He paused and said he was speaking English. I then went off on the poor guy. I felt bad telling him he was a blank, telling him I would snap is fnn neck. I didn't feel good and he could fnnn off....So, I have some repenting to do but geesh....why do you have to put up with that? I am on a DNC list etc.

Got a call last Friday. Had fun playing along saying that I was going through the steps they wanted (I wasn't because the computer was with my wife). They kept passing me along to a more senior person (technician, senior technician, technician manager) and it was obvious they were passing the headset. Not even put on hold! VERY funny! I kept them on the line for 15 minutes before I told them I was running Windows Vista and wasn't having any problems. I also told them that I don't go onto the Internet. He asked "How do you get your email"? I told him that I go to the library for that. That is when they hung up. Haven't been called back.

i just got the same call...this time it sounded like a little girl who had her daddy telling her what to say...something about computer problems......who do we report this too?

does anyone wanna call the [***] FBI? on these [***]?

Same call 2x, claiming my computer was infected with virus, blah, blah, blah ... I laughed and said "you are scamming and phising to steal information" ... take your offer and shove it where the sun don't shine buddy!

They called. Answering machine picked up. They hung up. Have a nice day. :-)
