I received a call several times from this number. It IS Kohls. Also, if you are getting multiple calls and you don't own a Kohls card, it's probably more important for you than for others to answer the call! It's possible someone has stolen your information and signed up for a Kohls card on your behalf or some other kind of identity issue. They don't leave a voicemail but I know it's Kohls because I have made payments before and they have posted to my Kohls card. Not sure how well that "scam" would work if the scammer were attempting to take and keep my money for themselves.
This is a call from Kohl's Department store. I had an account that went into collections because I did not pay it. They are calling to settle a debt. The message that was left requested me by my name. So for the people who are saying they don't have a Kohl's account. If they are asking for so and so, and its not you. More than likely someone listed a 'phony' number that turns out to be yours.
Yep, it's Kohl... I was late on my payment and as soon as I made the payment, the calls stopped.
No, she's right (and she's not lying). YOUR call may have been a scam since scammers can now show you whatever phone number they want on your caller ID, but for her and I, it really was Kohl's.
Do NOT answer or deal with this phone #! I AM a Kohl's customer and have NO OUTSTANDING balance! Scamming for info!!!!! Kohl's needs to inform it's customers!!!!!!
Pay your bill on time and they won't call. If someone owed you money, youd be calling them too.
I agree it's a scam, I've received two calls form this number, just hang ups. For those who say it's Kohl's I'd think twice. Kohls is a reputable company and I'd think they would leave a message, I don't even have a credit card with them. If this is somehow Kohls I recommend cancelling your cards with them and stop doing business, because any company with a good reputation would leave a message.
Wanted the last 4 digits of my SS#. This is very sophisticated phishing. I don't have an account there.
It is Kohl's. BUT: it is bad form in this day and age to ask for any information when they initiated the call. The robo cal should simply ask you to call the number on the back of your Kohl's card to check for a missed payment. That is a safer alternative.
