got the same call from this number telling me my auto load was approved and the needed some more inofrmation.. It may be a scam orginating in India.

This number keeps calling, but when I answer they hangup.They call about every half hour to an hour and its getting annoying

Got a call here at my parents house; ehoe faint hello after saying hello in ENGLISH; some other kind of foreign language being talked in the background

I just had the police at my job today for the samething only..the called me cuz my bank re-tracked the money for both transactions ( that i was stupid enough to send them, unknowing) and he called me at work i cussed him out and told him he was a scam and i told i was gonna get it back one way or another, said he wanted to speak to my manager ( WTF ) is my manager gonna do???He got mad when i told him to provide me with my documentation, didnt want to speak to the ppl he was supposedly collecting for ....kept hangin up on me and even pretended to be an answering machine with the beep and all...The cop called one of the numbers they call from and cop told him to stop harrassing and ask who he was and what the name of his company is wouldnt tell em cop told him he didnt even sound American..lol Indian got mad and told him to shut up and hung up

Caller stated that he was looking for my husband (who is deceased) and said that my husband's computer is badly infected with viruses and they needed to clean his computer... my daughter works in a large IT department and keeps my computers running beautifully. this is a bogus call that is trying to scam elderly people.

I didn't get these calls before I got a Capital One credit card...does that make any connections for you guys?

On 8/9/11 I received about 5-7 phone calls in the matter of 10 min from this very same number. At first I couldn't figure what he was saying and I just hung up then he called back. I have a 15 mo old son which he woke up with the damn calls! I asked to speak to a supervisor, send me something in writing or at least put and American on the phone or someone who speaks english that didn't go to well he got angry and hung up then had the nerve to call my boyfriends phone and leave a message for me!! Get a life like whoever they are they are doing a really bad job at trying to scam people they cNt even speak english

I just got a call and an man from an Asian country who said my computer was sending error messages and he wanted me to go to my computer and go through the steps he was going to give me to corect these error messages. When I started to question him as to the company he represents etc. he said he knew my phone number and address so he had to be valid. I asked if I could put him on hold because I was on another call. He did and while he was on hold I looked up area code 282 and it came back with no city/state attached and that it was a SCAM. I also called the computer company I have used for years and as he listened he quietly told me what to say and what to ask for. I asked for the name of the company, Windows Service Company, I asked for his Corp. License number, no response then he told me to ask for their Taxpayer Id. number, he hung up. Don't fall prey to these vultures!
