I recently applied for a cash advance but did not get one.....seriously, I did not get it. But now all that is calling my house are numbers like these and this one scared me today talking about arresting and what not, but wouldn't say what for. I figured it was a scam but wow....I bet a lot of us applied for this and didn't get anything; now they have all of our info....this sucksss!!!!!
Received 5 calls from this number today. I answer and they hang up or just stay on line. I call it back and says your call can not be completed as dialed.
What a joke! I've received several calls from several different numbers all with the same message. They claim that I took a payday loan (which I never have) and if I don't call back they "wish me luck" and will see me in court. I would LOVE to see them in court!!! It's always a [***] leaving an American name. Like I believe that. The last time they called they left a return phone number of 877-822-5212 and I decided to call them back and F*** with them. However, when I dialed the number, I got some poor lady in Quincy, IL who told me she has been receiving several calls from people asking about loans! What a joke. It's a scam and I report each number that shows up on my caller ID to the Federal Trade Commission!
hi , igot a call from this number at 9:36 am this morn. rang 2 times an stopped. thank every one that reported this asa scam. im gonna have some fun with them now that others have. heck no point in us all not freaking with them , lol
A man with a hard to understand accent called and said the same thing to me; he has been doing this for about a year now. Sometimes the number shows up as 282-726-2524 and sometimes it shows up as "emergency number" which I answer for fear it is about a family member in an accident or something. He says "only God or an attorney can help you now" and threatens me. I reported the number to the FTC, not sure what else to do. But, would closely watch your credit reports to make sure no activity shows up since they have your SSN.
I got this call several times a day recently. When I picked up the phone, there was no response, except for once (this morning), a female voice actually speak of my name. This is scary. How they got my name?
