No need to worry about this number - nobody is being cheated on. This number has been appearing on my usage report as well and it has to do with GROUP MESSAGING. I confirmed this yesterday when I received a group message at 5:30pm EST. Five other people were included in that message and when I checked my usage report a few hours later all 5 numbers listed were this 288-256-4782 #. I know for a fact that nobody in the group uses a text app. I called ATT to see if they can explain and they have no clue.

Over 30 text messages since last night on the log but none of them are showing on the phone.

This number shows up multiple times on my boyfriends billing. It started when the football pool he's in began and everyone was texting him about points and the games. He has ATT. It has to be connected to group messaging or the football pool app. I think it's Game Pros or something like that.

Another odd thing I've noticed on my Att bill is along with this #, my husbands sent messages aren't appearing

I've noticed the same number on my bill starting late November as well.It is curious that the first three digits 288 are consistent with "ATT" on the keypad. This is going out on a limb and is purely speculative, but "ATT BLOG SUB" translates to 288-256-4782. Perhaps some AT&T programmer has inserted this number to satisfy a certain glitch in their system?

I called them about this issue this afternoon. The same thing as everyone is saying. An error on their end that it is showing up, she had to actually log in as me to see the number on my account. She said its not a virus and they're working on correcting issue. If it affects you and you have AT&T you're supposed to text that phone number to 7726. Also the best way to keep it from continuing is to delete the group text that you're on where it happened and start a new ones. They're aware of the issue. I hope this was helpful.

Same here and it shows that we both get texts from this number. It seems to appear whenever we get a group text. I am female, not cheating and certainly not into porn.

My husbands came at 3 and 4 am and then again this evening
