No this is incorrect information. This number surely with this many complaints from both male and females is not a number text from a computer. That would mean this one number knows everyone and.texting from a computer. And they all started around November 24,-

So your saying everyone that gets a text from this number is a cheater? Wow

So what happened?

On my husband 11/24 18 times then nothing until 11/27 then 4 times again...What is it?

I found this number 52 times on my phone last month, and 46 times on my husbands. All started suddenly in November. NOTHING comes through on the phone however. We do not have unlimited texting so when I got a warning that I was nearing my limit, I logged into the account online and found this number. Contrary to what others have said, it does not coincide with any group texts. Plus, these suddenly started in November and now occur daily. After speaking with a very helpful ATT rep (who not only credited my account for last month, but automatically gave me a credit for this month) she had a helpful suggestion. Create a CONTACT for this number. Use SPAM as the name. After the contact is created, you have the option to "block this caller". This will stop all texts from hitting your phone (even though as others have said, nothing has been showing up anyway - just appearing on the bill).

Regardless if it is caused by group messaging or an app, the real question is why did this just start showing up on bills a week ago?We have been group messaging with people that have other service providers and using apps to chat for years. What changed to make this common number just show up in our bill?

Did ATT say what app it was coming from?

I agree it seems to coincide with group texting. It makes me feel better I'm not the only suspicious wife, etc ;-)
