I received this email today and reported it to Craigs List abuse and also I am going to report it to the Federal Trade Comission. I knew it was a scam as why would someone agree to buy something that they never can see. Also, the reason they mention the deaf disability isn't for sympathy but so you won't call them. Unfortunately, I fell fo rher scam. My bank contacted me today, to say the check was fraud. I got the same exact email as you did. I thought it srange when she sent a check for the movers tot be paid, but because I was so happy to have my TV stand sold didn't think anything more of it. Have contacted my local police departmwnt.Have learend a lesson the hard way. Will be lots more cautious in the future.
