This is the same email response I got. I knew it was a scam. Had a Bank Certified Check sent to me before wanting me to be a mystery shopper. Deposited in bank, but was smart enough not to spend the money before I found out. Was charged a $10 fee, but thats cheaper than it could have cost me. What caught my eye also was the wikizplc.com on her email so i googled it and found your input. Thank you. Think they search craigslist to find people who are needing to sell items ASAP. Already in a hard spot right now with just losing my job and my Harley getting towed for no good reason today. Thats the reason was selling my oak table and chairs. Boy would that even put me deeper in the hell hole!! Thanks again!

Just got this respone to an ad I have on craigs list and glad I looked here. Although the name and email are diff't the scammer is the same... They wrote:Hello, do you still have this? When can I come check it out? Shoot me an email back as soon as possible pls or you can leave me a message here on my phone number (301) 741-4870, I'm speech disabled though, remember to leave your name and email address when you call. PS: - You can just reply this email, I'm aways with my computer whitney (301) 741-4870 Whitney White I hate liars and theives

Just noticed too that this person replied from two different emails. First one was from evaknight@operamail.com which included a link in the message to www.opera.com (possible link to mess with your computer or gain access to personal info maybe??) Too scared to even try. Second email was from evaknight@wikizplc.com.

I also posted an ad on Craigslist selling barstools. I rec'd the following email from Kelsey Louise. I reported the scam to Craigslist:Hello,it is me Kelsey thanks for getting back to me i want to buy this but the only way i can pay you is via a Bank Certified Check that i would mail to you using the FedEx overnight delivery,To make sure that everything goes smoothly i would wait for the check to clear before the pickup is done, I would be responsible for the pickup and it would be done by the movers and their payment would be included in the check i mail to you and this is all due to my disability (am deaf) and it makes it hard for me deal with this and it makes the transaction better and quicker.I know you were not expecting this and I would have loved to come for the viewing but i cant I really want it and am offering an extra $50 for you to delete the posting to show i want it as i am just settling into my new house i want good deals to furnish the apartment i stay in.if you are okay with this please send me pictures and get back to me with the followingYour Full nameYour Physical address (as FedEx does not deliver to P.oboxes)I await your response . thank you and stay blessedKelsey Louise

Forgot to tell y'all I responded to their email with the link for craigslist terms of use and a told them they have been reported... They are likely not in the USA... most scams like this are either in India or one of the African countries... Either way it's good there are sites like this one!!! Thanks!!!

My appreciation to everyone for your string of warnings here. "Randy Chamberlain" of rrandychambs@googlemail.com just tried to do the same on Craigslist (this time saying he was on a military mission and couldn't make any calls and promising the same as addressed in previous notes). Sad is his masquerading as one of our armed forces. Misrepresentation is unlawful.

Thank God, I found this site! I have been dealing with Jen Garcia also. My emails look identical. She sent me a check for $2400.00 for a $200.00 bedroom set. I was very suspicious! Investigated further and found this site. My check came Fed Ex. I am reporting her to Craiglist and sending her an email telling her I know it is a scam. I am tearing up the check. Check came from Omega Protein in Texas but the return address on the envelope says The Mosaic Company in Washington and the mover is in California. Should I also report this to Fed Ex?
