Caller called and hung up. Tried calling back, phone kept disconnecting...

This outfit is a "fund raiser" for the Police -- but in fact is a scam. They raised $2.1 million in 2001, but only donated $20K to a police department -- the other $2,080,000 went to salaries.

How do we know you're not the president of some other scam trying to bash legitimate organizations ? The I.R.S. has given 501(c)3 status so it's tax deductible, why would thay do that for a scam ? Answer that for me "jim" AKA misguided.

Google up Police Protective Fund and scam and you will get lots of info on these bums.They're not even smart enough to be polite, the whole thing smells fishy from the begining

Received a call today around 2:35. My answering machine picked up before me, but when I picked up the call personally, they hung up on me.

So ask them and they will take you off their list.It's as simple as that.

This person called me again tonight,for the trillionth time in a few years. I have asked him to remove me from the list over and over. He has every story in the book. So, I called the STATE POLICE. HE RECOMMENDED I KEEP A LOG OF THE CALLS, WHETHER I ANSWER THEM OR NOT AND IF OTHERS DO THE SAME THEN REPORT IT TOO. We can bring him down! Otherwise, let it go~ sorry. I hate solicitation as much as anyone, but he is getting his jollies with this. Enough is enough! He must be a very lonely sick man to come up with this detailed of a scam. I hope he finds GOD. He could sure use a different form of entertainment to speak with strangers.

Hello Ellen, I've read all about that story and who Duncan is.A washed up politician and lobbiest for the F.O.P to which then donated a lump some of money to his campaign for office.So he got paid to trash talk about a group that he had no clue of what he was talking about."you should only give to charities that are tax-ded.",Well the P.P.F is and the F.O.P is'nt so he stuck his foot in his mouth during his own press conference. Life is full of misconceptions. I hope you're more informed now.
