This man called saying it was from Police Protection, at 8 pm asking for Mr or Mrs when asked who was calling, he responded that he wanted to speak with the head of the household. I told him I was the head of the household and he hang up on me. Very weird. Should I call the police?

I got a call while I was out. I saw it on my caller I.D. But unlike most people on here, I dont care. It is just a phone call, you people act like receiving a phone call is a crime. Here's a tip go outside, do something, there are greater things is life to worry about than a phone call you receive. FIND A HOBBY!

caller answered, they stated my name as a question to me if i were that person, i figured a scam, i hung up without answering

Recieved call on 5/6/08 at 4 pm. Asked for "Mr. Twigg," told called there was no one here by that name. Caller went into a spiel about fallen officer's fund. I smelled a scam and was very angry (I just went to a fellow officer's funeral recently), as I am a law enforcement officer. Had a few choice words with the guy. Never told him I was LEO, and I hope he calls back.

Let me guess NO you did'nt.Well i did when they called and it's a REAL charity thats tax-deductable and gives free death benefits to families of fallen officers like your friend.You never know he might of been part of the program himself.Also tc for a supossed LEO you dont take good notes it's the Police Protective Fund.So i hope you fell good about trash talking an organization that could help YOU.Thats sad.It goes like this never bite the hand that feeds you......

Third time I've received a call from this person. They hang up when my answering machine answers.
