I got a very rude laugh and hang up tonight at around 7:15 from 301-762-6550. This number has called many times before, sometimes as much as 6 times per day.
Phone didn't ring - was attempting to make a call - no dial tone. I kept hanging up - no dial tone for a little while. Caller I.D. came up 301-762-6650 - John Farrell, Rockville etc. I receive a number of these types of calls - generally someone associated with Police or Firemen. I never know who is for real - so just say no to everyone. The callers associated with the "Police" in particular, tend to be very aggressive and threatening. Side note: The B.B.B. has some aggressive/threatening, telemarketing people as well.
got a call 1/2/08 middle of the afternoon. Got to the phone just after the machine picked it up; this caller had already broken the connection. Caller ID stated "Police Protectio" so I Googled the phone number and got here. Thanks!
1:20 pm Jan 3, 2008. I got the call and my answering machine message came on and he bailed. I got the # from the return call service and Googled it. Came up with your site.
