I got a call from them at 1:55 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Unsure who it was, I came here. It seems to be the Bank of America fraud department.Yesterday, I purchased another years' worth of FlickrPro with my Bank of America credit card. They charged me $1 (probably to test the card), and Bank of America thought that it was fraudulent activity. So, I called Bank of America and told them that I made the transaction. I have been watching my credit card account since then, and nothing else has been charged to it.

THIS NUMBER IS LEGIT. This was a fraud alert call against one of my credit cards. The caller left 1-866-217-5447 as the number to call back. When I called this number I spoke to a rep who reported that there was a fraud charge against my account and close the account. I then came here and got all concerned when I saw the couple of posts warning that this was a fraud number. I immediately called the ph no on back of my card and found that the card was closed and there was zero charge pending on my card.AGAIN THIS NUMBER IS LEGIT. But it does not hurt to do followup by calling the number on the back of your card.

I called Bank of America directly, provided them both the 888 number and the 302 number and Fraud Dept person at BofA said neither of these numbers belong to BofA.

Remember that scammers use these message boards to deny that its a SCAM. You cant believe phone calls, emails etc. JUST call the number on the back of your credit card.

The caller left a message saying that this is Bank of America card services calling about my account. They left a toll free number to call. Is it legit???

The caller left a message saying it was Merrill Lynch and they wnated to verify a charge on my account.

just got a weird call from this number, they wanted to talk to my GF about financial information yet he would not divulge the company or the nature of the call. It might be fraudulant, i do not know why they are calling me despite that my GF and I have the same phone account

The caller left a message re my credit card and potential fraudulent charges. Sounds bogus.
