persistent calls from 1-302-458-1590. machine was full so they were unable to leave a message.
this is a legitimate number reporting credit card fraud. i got a call from them yesterday, and double checked it with my credit card company. someone used my ccard in saudi arabia, so they shut down my account.
Received a call today reporting unauthorized charges to a B of A Business CC.Someone fishing for valid card numbers had made small online charges on one of my business cards.Result: B of A will reject charges, shut this CC number down and overnight me a replacement CC at no charge, and will investigate fraudulent charges.
A Tom Cocrin called from the referral department of card services asking about a card inquiry. The phone number he left to call back was 888 – 231 - 6262 with a long reference number. I called it and was on hold for over two minutes without anything, no music, no sounds. I hung up and did a search for the number that called me and found this website.
called my home stating that they were looking for the person handleing the estate of Roy walker Jr. then called again the same day looking for a William Walker. In the original call stated that ray had made a call from my home in July 2006. I know no such person.
I got a call from this number and was told that there was going to be some legal action against me because I apparently had ordered something on Ebay which I did not. They said that they were from the BofA and asked for my social...DON'T GIVE IT!!!
Got a call from this number saying it was B of A fraud dept.. the number to call back was 866-506-3374 ... called that one back (stupidly).. but then called our "real" B of A number and verified that it was a legit call from them... so it WAS legit in our case.. but anyway.. you should always call the number on the back of your card.
I missed a call from this number, but no message was left, which I had found suspect and why I searched for the number. I did have a incident with B of A earlier today, but resolved it online and over the phone. It could be a legitimate representative, or somebody who has obtained access to B of A fraud account information.
Called to verify I was transferring some $ to my checking account from my credit card. I did this over the phone the previous day with a BOA rep on the phone, and he said he was calling to verify. He asked what state my social security was issued in. I was half awake when I answered the phone, so I told him without thinking about it. When I called this number back it says it's BOA but the # is inactive and referred me to a diff #. I just got off the phone w/ BOA phone number off my credit card. He said there was a note in my file that the fraud dept called me this morning to verify this transaction. So it's a legit #.
