Checked online and found out they sometimes call themselves Zoom Web Media. Tries to social engineer to get access to information. Very Rude. Claims to be a business consultant. Won't give out their name. Number sometimes shows up as 202-204-0484. Any calls from this number are up to no good - add it to your blocked calls list.
Called this morning and left no message. Have no reason to get call from this area code. Not a busiess, a home phone.
caller from this number said his companys server was showing that my home pc's "internet part" had downloaded a virus from the internet. After a few questions about how his server could see my pc which by the way i don't have, he hung up. Very hard to understand but said he was with " E security or something like that.
I got a call from this number saying they were technition and they heard I problem with my windows. I said excuse me. Non speaking English. As a computer programmer. I said your insaine if you think I'm going to give you any information about my computer. HUNG UP
If you want to be on the DNC list, you have to go to that website and enter the information yourself. Your service provider does not do that for you.
They will never be fined because the DNC list is a joke, and these guys are probably out of the country anyway.
The police do not care about telephone scams, and there is nothing they can do about them, so don't waste their time.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Automated voice requested a call back from a person not at this number.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
