Caller said my computer downloaded a virus and it's damaging and erasing everything on my computer. I asked what company he's calling from, he said E-Tech something or other and tried to explain they work on behalf of Microsoft and that I am registered as owner of my computer. ?? I asked him if he knew my name. He did not. I asked him if he can confirm my IP address. He would not. He said that only Microsoft and me know my name and my IP address. He kept talking over me and let telling him to stop talking. He then told me to log in to my computer. I told him I was not home and asked for a number to call him back. He got defensive trying to say it's not a scam and said he'll call me in an hour. I doubt he will. WTF?
Someone with a foreign accent started asking questions to get my private info. I just hung up.
302 area code won't go through and changed to 1302 still won't work. Annoying idiot. Won't pick up even if they went through.

Got a call that they were calling from Windows and that they were being alerted that there was a virus on my computer. I asked him if he didn't have anything better to do with his time. I get sick of these calls.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
